A stoneware hot pot hand-finished with a rounded body, a tight-fitting domed lid vented for steam, and two loop handles for moving between oven and table. Glazed in deep mahogany that catches light along the curve of the lid, with the natural clay showing at the unglazed base.
Sized for a stew for two, a small vegetable braise, or a single-pot dinner brought straight from stove to table. Drawing on the patience of French country cooking, translated into Japanese stoneware.
