Hand Carved German Tree Topper Stars
Our German Tree Topper Stars are hand-carved from a single block of limewood, with delicate curls shaped by hand to form the radiating points of the star. Available in Small, Medium, and Large.
Made in Seiffen, Germany in the traditional Spanbaum technique, a style of Erzgebirge woodcraft dating to 18th-century Seiffen, where miners turned to woodcarving through the long winter months.

Hand Carved German Tree Topper Stars
Seiffen woodworkers
When the silver mines of the Erzgebirge shut down in the 1700s, families turned their lathes to toys and ornaments, and a world famous folk tradition was born.
Today these pieces are still made by hand in small, family run woodshops, many of them carrying the craft forward exactly as their parents taught them.FROM OUR COMMUNITY
The quality of every single item is incredible, and the staff is absolutely lovely!
