Woven in Ireland from pure, extra soft merino wool, this blanket is crafted by Aran Woollen Mills, a family-run mill established in 1965 in Westport, County Mayo. The fine merino wool weave offers exceptional drape, warmth and breathability, making it a versatile layer for year-round comfort.

Featuring a sampling of traditional Aran cable patterns—symbols of fishermen’s ropes, safety, and good fortune—this blanket brings heritage meaning to everyday living. Designed to rest easily across a bed, armchair, or sofa, it is a timeless Irish wool piece made to be used, cherished, and passed down for generations.

Spot clean when possible. Hand wash or machine wash on a gentle wool cycle using cold water and a mild wool detergent. Avoid bleach and fabric softeners. Reshape while damp and lay flat to dry. Do not tumble dry. Store folded in a cool, dry place.
