Hand-blown in Old Cairo in a Fair Trade certified workshop and hand-painted with gold detail. Egyptian glassblowing is one of the oldest glass traditions in the world, documented in a papyrus poem from the 3rd century A.D.

The art of Egyptian glassmaking dates back to 1500 BC, a tradition still carried in by the craftsman of Old Cairo.
Founded by two sisters raised with a love of Egyptian art, this Fair Trade Certified workshop provides local artisans with meaningful work while preserving generations of knowledge.
Each ornament is carefully mouth-blown, before being hand painted with silver or gold. Beautiful pieces to bring out each Christmas, and to pass along for generations to come.
