Bergs Potter Pot Feet Trio

Bergs Potter pots are naturally frost resistant thanks to their high-quality Italian Galestro clay. With proper care, they can withstand many winters outdoors.
To help protect your pot during colder months:
Ensure proper drainage and keep the drainage hole clear so water cannot collect and freeze
Add drainage stones to the base of the pot when planting
Remove saucers during winter so excess water can escape
Elevate pots slightly with pot feet or blocks to prevent trapped moisture
In harsher climates like northern Canada, we recommend placing pots in a sheltered area and protecting them from excess snow and rain during prolonged freeze–thaw periods, or store indoors.
Over time, a natural patina may develop on the clay surface — part of the enduring beauty of terracotta.
