The Regal Peacock plate, introduced in 1913 to celebrate King George V’s coronation, remains one of Burleigh’s most storied designs. Each piece is hand-printed from engraved copper plates using Burleigh’s century-old tissue transfer method — a process that gives its rich black pattern exceptional depth and character.
A timeless dinner plate that turns everyday dining into an heirloom ritual.

Burleigh pottery is designed for everyday use and modern living. All pieces are dishwasher and microwave safe, though we recommend gentle care to preserve their hand-printed finish.
Wash using a mild detergent on a low-temperature or delicate cycle.
Avoid sudden changes in temperature (for example, transferring directly from fridge to microwave).
Do not use in the oven or freezer.
Hand washing is preferred for longevity, particularly for older or finely detailed pieces.
Each item is hand-decorated and glazed using traditional methods at Middleport Pottery — small variations are part of its unique character and craftsmanship.
