Antique Blue Cottage Crafted Single Handle Jug
- Description
This vintage Hungarian jug features a soft sage/pale blue glaze over traditional terracotta—its surface mottled and nuanced from decades of use. Once used for water or wine, its shape reflects centuries-old utilitarian design: rounded shoulders, a tapered base, and a single sturdy handle.
The glaze pools gently at the rim and shifts in tone with the light, ranging from pale celadon to pale olive. Perfect styled on open shelving, used as a sculptural piece on the dining table, or filled with dried florals.
