The Blue Nutcracker Soldier is hand-carved and hand-painted in a blue traditional soldier's uniform with crisp detail and precision carving.
Handcrafted in Seiffen, Germany by Dregeno — a cooperative of Erzgebirge woodturners founded in 1919. The Erzgebirge, or Ore Mountains, is the historic home of German nutcrackers and candle pyramids, crafts that trace back to 18th-century miners who turned to woodcarving through the long winter months.
