We understand that the holidays are a time for early gifting and thoughtful preparation. To make your holiday shopping experience easier, Faire Living offers an extended return window on eligible purchases made during the holiday season.
Items purchased between November 1st and December 24th may be returned until January 8th of the following year, provided they meet all other return criteria outlined in our standard Return Policy.
Please note that this extended window excludes holiday-specific items — including ornaments, holiday dishware, décor, and textiles, which remain final sale and are not eligible for return or exchange.
All other standard conditions apply: items must be in new, unused, and resellable condition, in their original packaging, and accompanied by proof of purchase.

DOMESTIC CANADIAN SHIPPING
We ship all Canadian orders via UPS. The shipping rates below are displayed in CAD. For our domestic customers, all prices are displayed and processed in Canadian Dollars during checkout.

VANCOUVER ISLAND SHIPPING
As a thank you to our Island community for supporting our original brick and mortar during Faire's first four years in Qualicum Beach, all Vancouver Island bound orders over $50 CAD are eligible to receive complementary UPS Standard delivery automatically at checkout.
CONTIGUOUS U.S. SHIPPING
We ship all Canadian orders via USPS with Duty Paid at checkout — meaning there are no surprises charges once you recieve your order. The shipping rates below are displayed in USD. For our American customers, all prices are displayed and processed in U.S. Dollars during checkout.

PROCESSING TIMES
All in-stock orders are processed within 1-3 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped.
Preorders
Please see individual listings for our estimated ship out date. Once your order is placed, please allow up to the estimated ship out date for us to fulfill and ship your items. We will keep you updated on the status of your preorder and notify you should there be any delays.
Returns & Exchanges
REGULAR MERCHANDISE
Returns and exchanges are accepted within 14 days of the delivery date for a refund to your original form of payment, minus any applicable restocking fee.
All returned items must be in new, unused, and resellable condition in their original packaging.
Please note that:
- Original shipping fees are non-refundable.
- Refunds are processed within 3 business days of receiving your return back at our Calgary shop.
- Items that show signs of use, damage, or missing packaging will not be eligible for refund.
Canadian Online Returns
Canadian returns are subject to a $15 CAD restocking fee for standard-sized items, which will be deducted from your refund once the return has been processed. Oversized items or orders of 6 or more pieces are subject to a $30 CAD restocking fee.
- Contact us at hello@faireliving.com with your order number and reason for return.
- Once approved, you’ll be provided a Return Authorization Number (RA number) and a prepaid return label.
- Carefully package your items to prevent movement or breakage during transit. Items damaged in return shipping will not be eligible for refund.
- Clearly write your RA number on the outside of the box before dropping it off at your local post office.
Once your parcel arrivesto us, and the return meets the above conditions, your refund (minus the restocking fee) will be processed within 3 business days.
United States Online Returns
Returns from the United States are accepted under the same 14-day policy. A $25 CAD brokerage fee and the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
- Contact hello@faireliving.com to request a return and receive your RA number and shipping label.
- Package your items securely and ensure your RA number is visible on the box.
- Drop your parcel off with your local courier.
Refunds will be processed within 3 business days of the item’s arrival back at Faire Living.
PREORDERS AND SPECIAL ORDERS
Please note that all Preorder sales are final. Once your order is placed, we are unable to offer cancellations, exchanges, or refunds. We appreciate your understanding as we work to fulfill your special order and get your items to you as quickly as possible. Should you have any questions before placing a preorder, don’t hesitate to reach out – we're happy to assist you.
SEASONAL PRODUCTS
Please note that seasonal products — including our Christmas and Holiday Collections — are final saleand not eligible for return or exchange.
U.S. DUTY & TAXES
To ensure a seamless delivery experience, all applicable duties, tariffs, and import fees for U.S. orders are calculated and paid at checkout.
This means there will be no additional surprise charges when your package arrives.
Faire Living ships all U.S. orders using Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) services, ensuring a smooth and transparent delivery process from our shop to your door.

What shipping methods do you offer?
We ship via CanadaPost and UPS, ensuring that all shipping methods include tracking for your peace of mind.
Do you ship internationally?
We’re happy to offer shipping options to Canada, the U.S, and the UK directly at checkout. For all other countries, please reach out to our customer service team and provide details about the items you wish to purchase and your shipping address. We’ll be happy to provide you with shipping options and rates tailored to your location.
How long will it take for my order to arrive?
Depending on your location, we offer both Standard and Express shipping options. If you require a faster delivery option than those available at checkout, our customer service team is happy to assist you in finding the best shipping solution.

I Need to Change My Order Before It Ships
If you notice a mistake or need to make changes to your order before it ships, please contact our customer care team as soon as possible. We’re always happy to help correct errors or make adjustments where we can. While we aim to fulfill orders quickly, we will do our best to accommodate changes as long as your order has not yet been processed for shipping.
Please note that Faire Living is not liable for mistakes made to an order or shipping address provided at the time of purchase.
If you need to cancel your order prior to shipping, please note that a $15 CAD restocking fee will apply if your order has already been packaged but not yet shipped. This fee will be deducted from your refund.
To request a change, please reach out with your order number and the details you’d like to update. We’ll confirm whether the change is possible and adjust your order accordingly.
If your order has already been processed and is on its way to you, we will gladly assist you with our returns process once your item arrives.
HOW DO I CHECK THE STATUS OF MY ORDER?
When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available.
If you haven’t received your order within your estimated arrival window, please contact us with your name and order number, and we will gladly look into it for you.
Do you ship to P.O. boxes?
Carriers may not be able to deliver to P.O. boxes. For the best experience and to avoid any delivery delays, we recommend shipping to a residential or business address. If you have any questions or concerns about your shipping address, please don’t hesitate to contact us for assistance.
